Katerina Hebelkova, a soloist of Prague State Opera. A graduate of Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich in master class by professor Daphne Evangelatos and Munich Opera School. The winner of The International Antonin Dvorak Singing Competition, a laureate of Dimitris Mitropoulos International Competition in Athens and Ad-Honorem-Mozart in Prague, where she was given Audience Award. She has been awarded Kulturpreis Bayern for her artistic achievements.
She has participated in numerous opera productions including G.F.Handel’s „Rodrigo” /Munich/, W.A. Mozart’s „Le nozze di Figaro” /Munich/, C.Bizet’s „Carmen” /productions in Sevilla, Munich, Oldenburg, Landestheater Klagenfurt/, V. Bellini’s „I Capuleti e Montecchi” /Munich/, G.Rossini’s „La Cenerentola” /Bad Wildbad Academy „Bel Canto”, and then another ones in Munich/, A.Berg’s „Wozzeck” /Staatstheater Oldenburg, followed by productions in Munich/, World Premiere of Vasile Tole’s „Eumenides” /Athens Acropolis/ W.A. Mozart’s „La clemenza di Tito” /Staatstheater Oldenburg/, G. Mahler’s “Earth song” /Weser-Ems-Halle Oldenburg/ and D.Shostakovich’s „Moscow Cheryomushki”, G.Mahler’s „Kindertoten Lieder”, Ch.W.Gluck’s „Orfeo ed Euridice”, G.F.Handel’s „Hercules”, J.Massenet’s „Werther” and „Manon”, D.Shostakovich’s „Lady Makbet of Mtsensk”, the American premiere of Philip Glass’s “Kepler” opera, B.Britten’s „Albert Herring”, G.Puccini’s „Madame Butterfly” and many other. Katerina Hebelkobva has also sung in Nohant and Paris. At present apart from her continued cooperation with Prague State Opera she works with The Opera de Dijon, Theater Chemnitz and Theater in Caen. During the inauguration of The Pearl of Baroque Festival 2019 she is going to give a performance with the accompaniment of WIENER SOLISTEN ORCHESTER.
Wiener Solisten Orchester is an ensemble of Viennese musicians who give concerts with accomplished soloists including Marie Fajtova, Katerina Hebelkowa, Mari Mariya, Małgorzata Walewska, Laura Spengel, Luis Chapa, Piotr Beczała, Hubert Zapiór. WSO has recorded for Austrian TV ORF, Japanese NHK and TVP and TVP Polonia. Wiener Solisten Orchester interpretation of „The Trails of Strauss” was awarded the gold record in 2013.
The ensemble was founded and is manager by Piotr Gładki – a Polish violinist, the concertmaster of The Odense Symphony Orchestra, who has cooperated with numerous conductors including D. Barenboim, D. Kitajenko, V. Geergiev, C. Abbado, V. Fedoseev and H. Stein. Piotr Gładki graduated from The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and then from Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover in master class by professor J. Ellermann. He continued his studies in Hochschule für Musik in Vienna and University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz.
As a musician he has performed on the world most famous stages including Carnegie Hall in New York, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Avery Fisher Hall in New York and Salle Pleyel in Paris. Many contemporary composers like Werner Steinmetz, Ingo Ingensand, Łukasz Farcinkiewicz and Balduin Sulzer have dedicated him their violin pieces to honor his artistry. Apart from his concert activity he is the President of The Austrian-Polish Music Society.
