Agne Keblyte, a fantastic harpist born in Vilnius, began her studies on the harp at the age of nine. She attended Best European art schools including the Geneva Conservatory of Music, the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris, which she graduated from with the first prize in the class of Isabelle Moretti – a world top harpist.
She has performed at prestigious festivals in Hungary, England, Belgrade and Moscow, at “Davos Young Artist in concert”, „Les Museïques” in Basel, „Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad” in Switzerland, „Rome Chamber Music Festival” and „Mediterranean Musical Encounters” in Italy. Her solo concert with an orchestra conducted by maestro Jesús López Cobos opened „Encuentro de Musica y Academia” festival in Santander in Spain.
She has performed as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Hermitage Symphony Orchestra in St Petersburg and the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra. She has won prizes at International Harp Competition in Hungary and at International Harp Competition in Israel. At present she lives in Spain, is the principal harpist for Orquesta Filarmonica de Gran Canaria and cooperates with Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, The Paris National Opera Orchestra and Qatar Philharmonic.
